I'm cat sitting for a friend, and on top of that, I've got a cold. I wanted to order delivery and noodles sounded good. I searched Yelp for nearby restaurants and found Hong Kong Cafe. Online ordering was really easy, with a projected wait time of an hour.
Everything arrived within 30 minutes, piping hot. I ended up with: sesame chicken (flavorful and you can choose how spicy you want it, brilliant), pan fried dumplings (8 pieces in an order), and an order of plain lo mein.
The food was simply delicious and it satisfied the craving I've had. Looking forward to cat sitting again so I can order from here!

So, coming from LA, I think good Asian food is hard to come by in Denver. However, Hong Kong Cafe did not disappoint!

    Highlights:
    - Mapo Tofu with minced pork had a spicy kick to it. Delicious! Sesame chicken was also delicious. You can choose to have white rice or fried rice with any of the dishes.
    - Scallion pancakes were delightfully fluffy and flavorful. Don't know what kind of sauce they served it with, but I was in love.
    - They have taro smoothies!! If you've never had one, just order it. Trust me.
    - Service was fantastic from start to finish. Owner came out to chat and check in with us.
    - At the end of your meal, they give you free fried buns with a condensed milk drizzle. Adorable and sweet.
    - Portions were HUGE. Definitely shareable. Also, the menu had so many choices. No matter who is in your party, someone will find something to eat.

I am such a fan of this place. Will return anytime I have a hankering for some good mapo tofu.

The sesame chicken is soooo good!

There was an issue with Grub Hub and our correct address, so we waited a lot longer than expected for our food. Even though it wasn't the restaurant's fault, Jenny (the owner) made sure we were satisfied and had our food remade so our delivery was hot and fresh!

We will definitely dine-in and order out from them again!

Wow - hello favorite new authentic Chinese joint - I'm so glad we had the chance to meet!  Ordered up two meals for lunch...plus soup...needles to say, I didn't until 10:00am the next day...no lie.  I was jones'en for some egg foo young and low and behold, they offered up an authentic Hongn Kong Style of Egg Foo and, it was stellar.  If you like Egg Foo Young, you've gots to gets you's some of dis!!!  It was Deeeelish!!!

I was also craven a little salt and pepper something...so, I went with the squid.  Also, exceptional.  And to add in a little pro tip...the salt and pepper squid dipped in the homemade sauce they served with their Egg Foo Young...winner-winner chicken dinner!  Trust me on this one.

This is place will easily be an "Every time I hit Denver for business" stop for me...no brainer.  It's close to my hotel/where I stay and the food rocks!   There's a noodle/dumpling place I love over towards the other side of Cherry Creek however, this place just nails it home with the quality of their food as well.

If you're craven quality Chinese comfort food...look no further.  If you want to ponder over their authentic vittles as well...they've got it.  You won't be disappointed!

    Enjoy!

I ordered through Yelp delivery Butter Garlic Pork Chops but it didn't have a photo and was disappointed that it came breaded/battered and in strips. It's was a bit salty but I did taste the buttery garlic which I liked. I also ordered the Salt and Pepper Chicken Wing - again a bit salty but was flavorful. I would order from here again but try other dishes. Food is tasty and plentiful but won't make the mistake of ordering two fried dishes again.
